Composite geotextile, or impermeable geotextile and waterproof geotextile, is also known as composite geotextile nonwoven. It’s a kind of geotextile made from plastic fibres by needling or weaving. It’s quite popular for highways, railways, water conservation, construction, ash dams in power plants, treating tailings of nonferrous metals, recycling, environmental protection, and so on.
Geotextiles fabric raw materials include PE, PP, and PET. It’s spun into staples, filaments, or flat yarns. It’s then made into geotextile fabric or composite geomembranes, which are made by laminating geotextile fabrics with geomembranes.
We provide screw barrels for extruding nonwoven geotextile fabrics. By using special screw barrels, you can produce polyester staple fibre nonwoven geotextiles, polypropylene staple fibre nonwoven geotextiles, polypropylene filament woven geotextiles, polyester filament woven geotextiles, and woven geotextiles with plastic flat yarn.

1. All screw barrels are made of high quality 38CrMOAIA alloy steel, which has been tempered, characterised, finished, and ammoniated on the surface.
2. There’s also the option of electroplating screws (hard chrome plating screws). The screw flights surface that is easy to wear gets a bimetallic alloy treatment to improve its wear resistance.
3. The barrel bore is produced with the most advanced production process in bimetallic technology, centrifugal casting. This gives the product the advantage of high wear and corrosion resistance and increased life. Grooved feeding barrels can also be provided to increase the extruder feeding capacity.
