Nylon is a typical engineering plastic raw material for spinning and extruding plastic fibres. Modified PA6, PA66 are common staple and filament fibre raw materials. Extruding nylon with a conventional feed screw is difficult because nylon becomes liquid when heated. This screw barrel set can lead to inconsistent spinning and insufficient feed. 1. The screw barrel set is made of high quality 38CrMoAIA alloy steel, after quality tempering, finishing, and surface nitrogen treatment. Furthermore, screws are available with hard chrome plating and bimetallic alloys overlaid on the surface of the screw. The barrel was cast using centrifugal casting, the most advanced production method. So the PA fibre screw barrel set has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life, and other characteristics.
